An easy peasy way to make your cacao drink

Sometimes when I don’t have the time for the “ritual” of cacao and its more about getting the whole food nutrition in to me, I will make cacao this way and honestly as a mum its a bit of a life saver.

Don’t get me wrong, I am aaaall for for the slowness too, the chopping with intention, singing to the cacao, infusing it with my loving light and prayers and all of that juiciness, but if forfeiting cacao is the result of not having time for the fluffy bits then there has to be another way.

So here’s my cheat recipe that takes about 30 seconds. (Depending how full your jug is)

Method:

- Pop about 200 mls of water into the jug to boil (this shouldn’t take very long, its a little more than you’ll use but theres definitely a minimum that goes into a jug so you dont fry it)

- While this is boiling, chop up or shave 30 gms of your Cacao (this looks like about 1/4 Cup of shaved cacao)

- Pour 160mls of the water into a blender, add your shaved cacao, a teaspoon of sweetener and any yummy additions you’d like in your brew.

- Add 20 mls of cold soy milk / almond milk of whatever you like to use.

- Blend or pulse in your NutriBullet and pour into your most favourite vessel.

- This will be the perfect drinkable temperature and will make a gorgeous, creamy and decadent drink

- enjoy with love and gratitude x

(alternatively if I’m wanting more of a creamier consistency, ill warm up 180ml of mylk in the microwave and omit the water, this makes it suuuuper decadent and lush but its definitely different)
