WATER ELEMENT: EMOTIONAL BODY 

Flow / Cleanse / Release / Reflection / Introspection / Intuition / Yin / Softness /

The water element correlates to our EMOTIONAL BODY which is the aspect of ourselves that carries our feelings and emotions and recalls our past experiences to inform our future ones. The emotional body stores our feelings, fears, anxieties, and triumphs and recalls them for us when the time is appropriate. Once emotional balance is restored, the body’s innate, self healing ability can also be restored.

No emotion is bad, they’re just energy that needs to be expressed and can be a massive opportunity for growth. Allowing ourselves to feel into any emotions that may rise within can take pressure off our nervous system, release cortisol and allow blockages to be moved through.

Water is cleansing - not only literally, but figuratively too. When water isn’t in motion it can stagnate, so to release, cry, feel, flow and let go is to connect in to our inner waters…

We are water; to connect to it is to connect to ourselves.
